Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff (Yet)
Every year it happens.
First warm day hits. You flip on the AC. Nothing.
Or worse… it’s running, but your house still feels like a sauna.
Before you panic (or start pricing out a hotel room), there are a few simple things you can check first.
1. Check Your Thermostat
Yes, really. Make sure it’s set to COOL, not just FAN.
And check the temperature setting, sometimes it’s just… not low enough.
2. Dirty Filter = Weak Airflow
A clogged filter can choke your system.
Less airflow = less cooling.
Swap it out. It’s cheap, quick, and solves more problems than you’d think.
3. Outdoor Unit Blocked
Your AC needs airflow outside too.
If your unit is covered in Leaves, Dust or Debris… it can’t do its job.
Give it a quick clean and clear space around it.
4. Breaker or Power Issue
AC won’t turn on at all? Check your breaker panel.
Sometimes it’s a simple reset, not a full system failure.
When It’s Not a DIY Fix
If your AC is:
• Blowing warm air
